Fernando J. T. E. Ferreira

Fernando JTE Ferreira holds a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Coimbra. Since 1998, he has been a researcher at the Institute of Systems and Robotics of Coimbra, where he has participated in several national and European research projects in the field of electric drives, energy efficiency and renewable energies. From 2001 to 2014, he was a professor at the Department of Electrotechnical Engineering of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra, where he served as Adjunct Professor and Department Chair. Since 2014, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Coimbra. He is the author/co-author of more than 150 technical-scientific articles published in journals and conferences of recognized merit, with more than 3500 citations.
